TUV消毒灯是低压汞蒸气放电灯，有管状的玻璃外壳，发射短波紫外辐射，其值为253.7nm(UV-C)，有杀菌的作用。玻璃把会产生臭氧的波长为185nm的辐射过滤掉。管壁内的保护涂层可以防止UV-C辐射的衰减(长寿命灯)。PL-S型灯在灯座内安装了经过特别改进的启动器，可以提供瞬时启动。
用途：
TUV灯用来杀死细菌，病毒及其它微生物，或使之失去活性。应用于各相关行业包括在医院、细菌学和药学研究所进行空气、水和表面的消毒，以及食品加工业中，如奶酪厂、酿酒厂和面包房。还可以应用于饮用水、废水、游泳池、空调系统、低温储藏室、包装材料等方面的消毒。此外，这种灯还用于光化学反应。

Aquafine 紫外线杀菌灯
